Alessandro Fanucchi was born in Lucca (LU) on July 18th, 1981. He was first exposed to the camera during his first school trips. His passion has grown gradually, going through different stages- from a film camera to a digital one and etc. until he bought his first SLR camera in December 2008. 
Since then his passion has been grown up: the purchase of the first reflex "FX format" followed by the decision to start printing Fine Art. The simultaneous passion for travelling made travel photography his favorite genre. He tries to represent places he visits through the lives and eyes of the locals. He believes that nothing better than the human being represents a place, a country, a culture. The main source of inspiration for his photographs is the famous American photographer Steve McCurry, whom he was lucky to meet in October 2012 in Genoa during the presentation of one of his exhibitions.


The art works of the artist are dominated by the colors gray and pastel.
