Sergey Kokinskiy
- Lives (lived) in Russian Federation
I am 47, I have a business of my own. I live in Tula, two hundred kilometers distant from Moscow. When I am not taking pictures of penguins, bears, giraffes, or pelicans, I finish the photos taken and prepare for the new trips. The reason I started traveling was traveling itself, but not until I"ve got my camera. It changed everything, and now I plan every tripas an exclusive photo opportunity. At first, I found it interesting totake photos of people"s life abroad, depicting how it differs from our lifestyle, to make pictures of what they care about, what they sing, how they dance, what they eat and what they drink after that. Later I switched to studying rare birds, animals, or any existing creatures and their habitats. Interesting to me mutual relations among animals, birds, and other animals. When I photograph, I am trying to to project the behavior of animals on people"s behavior. Here we can find a lot in common. Something they have taken from us, and that we have taken from them. You just need to see what others could not see. Mysteries are always attractive, no wonder I have traveled to Antarctica, South Georgia and Falkland Islands three times, and now I can compare that region to Spitsbergen and Franz Josef Land, the Far North to the Far South. Very like to spend time in places with untouched by man nature.
